Easy Granola
Try Anne-Laure's easy granola recipe for a healthy, crunchy, and delicious start to your day. Simple ingredients, maximum flavour
Ingredients
200g coconut chips or wholegrain oats or rye flakes
250g nuts (chopped or whole, your choice)
75g coconut thread
150g seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, linseed, sesame – all of them or just one, your choice)
4 tbsp coconut oil
4 tbsp maple syrup or honey or brown rice malt syrup
½ tsp ground cinnamon or ground cardamom
Pinch of salt
Method
Preheat your oven 160C.
Combine all dry ingredients in a big bowl.
Gently melt the coconut oil and the sweetener together, mix well then pour over the dry ingredients. Stir well to coat evenly.
Transfer onto an oven tray and spread evenly with a spoon and bake for about 40 min until toasted to your liking. Remember to stir often.
Take out of the oven and let it cool down (it will be come crispy) then transfer into an airtight container or jar. You can now add dried fruits if you like (goji berry, cranberry, raisin, apricots).
Serve with milk, yoghurt and fresh fruit or on top of stewed fruits.
