Story
Ottimo is a specialty food store on Devon Street, New Plymouth.
A place where exceptional food, everyday essentials, and delicious finds from near and far all live under one roof.
We stock the things we love to cook with, eat and share. From handpicked imports and hard-to-find favourites to some of the best local producers we can find, every product on our shelves earns its place.
How it all began
Ottimo has been part of New Plymouth's food story for years. A much-loved local store, known for shelves full of good food and things you don't find everywhere. When the opportunity came for us to become Ottimo's next owners, it felt like the right kind of next chapter.
We'd moved back to New Plymouth to put down roots and raise our young family close to the people and the place we love. Taking on Ottimo wasn't just a business decision. It was a chance to become part of something that already meant something to this community, and to carry it into its next chapter.
