French chocolate fondant cake
A decadent and intensely chocolatey cake.
Ingredients:
- 200g good-quality dark chocolate
- 100 g salted butter
- 50 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs
Method:
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate together.
- Once melted, set aside to cool slightly, then add the flour, sugar, and eggs.
- Mix until combined.
- Pour the mixture into a round cake tin lined with baking paper.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes at 240°C, then lower the temperature to 160°C and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- The cake should remain very soft in the middle.
Serve with vanilla ice cream and fresh or thawed raspberries.
