French chocolate fondant cake

A decadent and intensely chocolatey cake.

Ingredients:

  • 200g good-quality dark chocolate
  • 100 g salted butter
  • 50 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
     

Method:

  • Melt the butter and dark chocolate together.
  • Once melted, set aside to cool slightly, then add the flour, sugar, and eggs.
  • Mix until combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a round cake tin lined with baking paper.
  • Bake for 5-10 minutes at 240°C, then lower the temperature to 160°C and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • The cake should remain very soft in the middle. 

 

Serve with vanilla ice cream and fresh or thawed raspberries.
