Ham and Cheese Croissant

A different version of the French croque monsieur: ham and cheese croissant. Simply delicious!

Ham and Cheese Croissants – Serves 4

4 croissants (not fresh, best when 1 day old)

4 ham slices

100g crème fraiche

30g Dijon mustard

200g cheese (best with Comte or Emmental)

 

Method:

Pre-heat your oven at 180C, fan baked.

In a bowl, mix the creme fraiche and mustard together.

Butterly each croissant (cut horizontally but leaving on side attached).

Spread the crème fraiche/mustard mix inside, then add the ham and the cheese.

Bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
