Cinchona Bark from the Andean province of Loja, Ecuador, is regarded as the original and finest source of quinine.It first became known by Jesuit monks in the 17th Century as ‘Quina Fina de Loxa’, then went on to be used around the world to prevent malaria. Famously in colonial India, tonic water was created as a military ration.
We have blended this historic ingredient with lemon juice, cane sugar and carbonated New Zealand water.
The result is a dry, authentic tonic water to complement your favourite spirit or to enjoy on its own.
