Beef Burger with Beetroot Sauce

Quick, easy and tasty!

INGREDIENTS

SAUCE:

- 1 cooked beetroot

- 1 Tbsp honey

- 4 tsp balsamic vinegar

- 1 tsp cajun spice mix

BURGER:

- 600g Angus Pure beef burger mix

- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

- 6 burger buns

- 1 red onion

- 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

- 1 garlic clove

- 6 eggs

- Roebuck Farm microgreens

- Salt and Pepper

 

METHOD

SAUCE:

Mix all ingredients in your blend or food processor.

Season to taste.  

BURGER:

Slice the onion.

Add the tsp of extra virgin olive oil with salt and pepper to the meat, mix with your hands.

Divide the mixture into 6 and shape your patties.

Add the rest of the olive oil to a pan and cook to your liking.

 Fry the eggs in an other pan with some olive oil.

Lightly toast the burger buns (toaster or under the grill).

Stack everything: red onion slices, beetroot sauce, 1 fried egg and beef patty. Top with some microgreens.
