Meet Gavin, the heart and soul behind Ottimo!

Passionate about tasty food and good vibes, he turned a career of cooking in New Zealand, Australia and England and a love for gourmet goodies into creating this business and serving the community of New Plymouth and beyond since 2013.

 When he's not curating delicious finds, you can find him riding his bike around the region or enjoying a cozy meal with his family.

 

Meet Anne-Laure, Ottimo’s French touch! Food is in her blood, and when she is not cooking, she is already thinking about her next meal.

She moved to NZ from France in 2010, and after working in hospitality, she turned her passion for all things food and wine into what Ottimo is about: a leading specialised food store. She is always willing to share tips about sourdough baking, easy and tasty recipes, and cheese and wine recommendations (she is nicknamed “the wine lady” by the staff).
