It displays vibrant aromas of violets, cherry and wild berries, leading to a beautifully balanced palate with ripe red fruit, fine tannins and fresh acidity. A brief maturation in large oak casks adds subtle complexity while preserving the wine's bright fruit character. A classic partner for pasta, grilled meats, roast lamb and mature cheeses.
