Cremant de Loire Brut
Ackerman 'Bulle Royale' Crémant de Loire Brut NV
A classic Méthode Traditionnelle made of Chardonnay with a touch of Chenin Blanc.
Maison Ackerman, established in 1811 by Jean-Baptiste Ackerman in Saumur, holds the distinction of being the Loire Valley's first producer of fine sparkling wines. Jean-Baptiste, originally from Brussels, was a pioneer in introducing the traditional method of sparkling wine production—known as the méthode traditionnelle—to the region, laying the foundation for what would become Crémant de Loire. The winery is renowned for its extensive troglodytic caves, carved into the local tuffeau stone, which provide an ideal environment for aging wines. These caves have also become a cultural attraction, hosting art installations and exhibitions that intertwine the worlds of wine and art.
Today, Maison Ackerman continues to be a leading producer of sparkling wines in the Loire Valley, upholding a legacy of quality and innovation that spans over two centuries.
