Fincas de Azabache is a state-of-the-art cooperative, founded in December 1956 located in the town of Aldeanueva de Ebro, some 59km SE from Logroño. The Bodegas has 502 hectares of vines selected from the best family estates or ‘fincas’, grown in a continental climate between 350-600 metres above sea with both Atlantic and Mediterranean influences at the foot of Mount Yerga, which is at the heart of the driest sub-region of Rioja Oriental.
