Château Pesquié's vineyards sit between 250 and 350 metres on the slopes of Mont Ventoux — the altitude and mountain influence giving a freshness and brightness that sets this apart from the broader southern Rhône. Farmed biodynamically on a mix of limestone, clay and terra rosa soils, the Terrasses is aged in concrete rather than oak to keep the fruit vivid and direct. Fresh red berries, cracked black pepper and a floral lift on the nose; round and balanced on the palate with soft tannins, good freshness and a clean, spiced finish.
